All new photos have been released for NEST - a site specific new theatre piece featuring over 100 young people exploring climate change and climate migration from National Youth Theatre and LEEDS 2023. 

The Wild West gets a little wilder in this unique, immersive adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, adapted by Alisa Stewart. Set in 1864 in the fictional town of Brannock, Montana, evil lurks in the shadows of an otherwise bustling gold town as old friendships break down, and new mysteries unfold. Live projections, moving sets, and a working saloon surround the audience that moves through the play in promenade fashion. Explore Dr. Jekyll's laboratory, Hastie Lanyon's dry goods at Lanyon's General Store, or order a drink from Jolly at Millie's Saloon, all while enjoying a classic gothic tale of good versus evil. 

The World Premiere of ONE WAY TICKET TO OREGON written by BC Caldwell, produced by BC Caldwell and Jeremy Aldridge, and directed by JJ Mayes as an Equity Approved Showcase production at the Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica, runs November 17 through December 17, 2017 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm, with no performances scheduled over Thanksgiving weekend. Featured in the cast (in alphabetical order) are Cash Beery, BC Caldwell, Cydney Wayne Davis, Dennis Delsing*, Matt McVay, Robert Paterno*, Anderson Piller, Rebecca Radock*, Ruth Silveira*, Bryan Staggers* and Melvin Ward.

ONE WAY TICKET TO OREGON takes place in Alexandria, Louisiana during the very hot and humid summer of 2010. At its core are two life-long friends, June Collins, an older no nonsense African American woman with an intuitive understanding of people, and Leigh Anne Rainey, a fiery and opinionated older southern belle living in an aging house that has been home to her family for over 150 years. When Leigh Anne receives the diagnosis that her cancer has returned and spread to her pancreas, she's forced to confront her mortality and how it will affect her son Bobby, who relies on her stability, his unstable wife Eve, and her young grandson Duke, who has autism. With help from her friend June, Leigh explores her limited options, including the use of medical marijuana to curb her symptoms, and learns about doctors in Oregon who can legally help her to die with dignity,' an emotional struggle taking place all too often around the world today.

Following a critically acclaimed world tour, the UK's leading circus company NoFit State bring their ground-breaking promenade show BIANCO to London's Southbank Centre for the first time, running from 23 November 2016 to 22 January 2017.

This fall, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts transforms much of its campus into a lively Little Italy themed street party as it celebrates For The Record: Scorsese - American Crime Requiem. The Wallis and For The Record-the acclaimed company that began in a small bar in East Hollywood in 2010 and whose performances have quickly become must see shows-combine forces to pay homage to the visceral world of Martin Scorsese in a new co production that revolutionizes the musical theater experience and brings the legendary filmmaker's epic soundtracks to life in a new generation cabaret, from September 21 through October 16. From the moment audiences arrive at The Wallis, the immersive experience begins with special pre show festivities, continuing through an exhilarating performance, and finishing with post show gatherings that feature specially curated entertainment.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING is a delightful celebration of the overwhelming power of love. Hero loves Claudio, and nothing, not even the scheming slander of a resentful Prince will stop them from being together. Beatrice hates Benedick, and Benedick despises Beatrice, but the more they bicker and fight, the deeper they will fall in love. This is a laugh-out-loud comedy for all ages. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Anne Jackson, who was nominated for a Tony in 1956 for MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and who enjoyed a long career with her husband, Eli Wallach, died Tuesday, April 12, in Manhattan. She was 90.

All three promenade-style productions will be helmed by ten creatively cast performers acting as their own orchestra, with music direction by Andra Velis Simon.

Ateneo Blue Repertory of the Loyola Schools Performing Arts Cluster brings back one of its hit musicals from Off-Broadway, BARE: A Pop Opera, at Teatrino, Promenade, Greenhills Shopping Center on February 29 (opening night); March 1 to 3; and March 7 to 10. Once again, theater and film actress Ana Abad Santos directs the production, which stars Jaime Barcelon and Bibo Reyes.

The Greatest Sin of All is a thought-provoking site-specific promenade performance piece which retells stories of survivors and victims of the vicious Nazi regime, in particular, those from the Jewish Community, political dissenters and the disabled.
