Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this July with a full slate of nightly performances! 

Disney’s Tarzan the Musical will run at Moonlight Stage Productions July 19-August 5, 2023, at 8 p.m.

​​​​​​​The Dessoff Choirs, led by Music Director Malcolm J. Merriweather, has revealed its 2023-2024 season, which begins a two-year 100th anniversary celebration.

Kim Moore, who appeared in Hadestown under the name Kim Steele, has sued the Hadestown producing entity alleging several counts of race discrimination and retaliation under New York State, New York City and federal law. Essentially, the suit alleges that Moore was a respected employee, but was fired soon after complaining about racial discrimination.

The older brother of Chuck Biscuits, Dimwit, stepped in on bass with Chuck still on drums, Joey Shithead on vocals and guitar and Dave Gregg on guitar. While this line up only lasted for 3 months, D.O.A. traveled to L.A. and recorded demos at Mystic Studios. Eventually Chuck quit, Dimwit took over on drums, and Wimpy Roy became the bassist.

OXBOW release “Dead Ahead,” the third single, and its accompanying video, from their forthcoming Ipecac Recordings’ debut album, Love’s Holiday. In July, New Conservatory Theatre Center is ecstatic to welcome back the Kinsey Sicks for the regional premiere of Drag Queen Storytime Gone Wild! Following last December’s hugely successful run of their hit holiday show Oy Vey in a Manger at NCTC, the Kinsey Sicks’ newest production is hitting the Decker stage before beginning its international tour at Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August.
