SHe Said is a new rock musical premiering at Intiman Theatre, featuring Seattle vocalist Jen Ayers. The production, which runs from January 14 to February 1, 2026, explores Ayers' personal journey with her husband coming out as transgender, and their 25-year relationship as partners and parents. With an on-stage band led by RL Heyer, the musical combines soaring vocals, soul, and rock-n-roll, aiming to redefine love through the lens of gender identity. Directed by Alison Narver, the show promises a unique blend of storytelling and musicality, reinforcing themes of transformation and acceptance.
