Queen of the Sky: A Demon Ballet at 12th Avenue Arts Mainstage

Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble presents the world premiere of this immersive aerial theatre experience blending acrobatics, dance, and horror. Set against 1940s American expansion and Cold War-era nuclear testing, the story follows pilot Aelia Erenhardt and navigator Fred Newman, whose attempted circumnavigation of the globe ends in a crash landing on a toxic island. There they confront a hive-mind creature born of scientific hubris, in a battle that is as much psychological as physical. Written and directed by Jones Talmadge and choreographed by Anne-Marie Talmadge, the production features cast members including Peter Amelia, Ivanna Wei, Vivian Tam, Lauran Drackett, Bridgett Gunning, Arjun Pande, Alex Kronz, Anne-Marie Talmadge, Andreas Fetz, Evelyn Bartlett, Aaron Lussier, and Ashley Tee.
