What did our critic think of AVENUE Q at Braw Venues At Grand Lodge?This smash hit musical is a hilarious satire of modern life starring a mixed cast of humans and puppets. It combines the ridiculous with the all too relatable, following Princeton, a freshly graduated dreamer with his whole life ahead of him, as he gets smacked in the face by reality and does battle with adulthood.

Back by popular demand, the hit musical Avenue Q will return to The GEM Theatre in Garden Grove, running September 4 through October 12, 2025. The official opening is set for Saturday, September 6, 2025, with a pre-show gala at 6:30 p.m. and an 8:00 p.m. curtain.

In a world filled with woe, and “every hour going oh, so slow,” it’s the perfect time to take in AVENUE Q at the Cultural Arts Playhouse in Syosset! Directed by Tony Frangipane, this production pulls out all the stops, and has audiences laughing from the pre-show announcement to the curtain call. You’re bound to forget that there are people on stage operating the puppets! Musically directed by Rich Giordano, the well known songs sound better than ever. Choreographed by Danielle Coutieri, the movement seems right out of an episode of Sesame Street.
