BADGERS at Traverse Theatre

Badgers is a world premiere play by Malaika Kegode, directed by Jenny Davies, presented as a Theatre Royal Plymouth production in association with Bristol Old Vic. The play follows Meles, a podcaster with a dying mother and a stalling career, who stumbles into something unfathomable in a town where a recluse, a disappearance and a mysterious folk song have taken root. A shape-shifting, mercurial folk tale about folk tales, the art of letting go and the ethics of true crime, featuring music by Jakabol.
