After Party is a world premiere play by Morna Young, directed by Katie Posner, conceived by Alex Fthenakis and Morna Young. Matriarch Vivienne Blackwood summons her fractured family for her 80th birthday party, where old tensions surface and a life-defining choice is revealed. Produced by Traverse Theatre in co-production with Paines Plough and the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, the play is a sharp, darkly funny and unflinching exploration of autonomy, love and our responsibility to others in life and in death.
