Recently, Laura has been busy hosting on BBC Radio 4 Extra's Comedy Club, winning the UK Comedy Award and being nominated for a Chortle Award... for the third time. However, for most of 2017 Laura was trying to get through therapy, trying the patience of everyone, and trying unsuccessfully for a baby. Given all that, Laura wasn't at the Edinburgh Fringe last year - instead she was in a tent in France with two small children and her mother looking for answers.

Lee Nelson Set To Embark On The Third Leg Of Hit 'Serious Joker' Tour

After handing Prime Minister Theresa May her P45 during the Conservative Party Conference before being frogmarched out and swiftly arrested, this spring will see Simon Brodkin embark on the third leg of his hit stand-up tour 'Serious Joker' as the impish Lee Nelson with 29 dates added across the country, including two shows at London's Leicester Square Theatre on 30th May and 14th June, bringing the tour to 153 dates. Lee will be coming to a town near you from Wednesday 2nd May with tickets on general sale from 26th January at leenelson.com.

Joanna Baker is to step down as Managing Director of the Edinburgh International Festival at the end of the year. Joanna has been Managing Director of the International Festival since 2006. She joined in 1992 as Marketing and Public Affairs Director and has since led the growth and development of the organisation across communications, programming, finance, governance and general management. She played a major role in the establishment of Scotland's first audience development agency, The Audience Business (now Culture Republic), Festivals Edinburgh, which she chaired for its first three years, and the Edinburgh International Culture Summit.
