Camerata Pacifica closes its 36th season with the California premiere of Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 15, arranged by Viktor Derevyanko for piano trio and percussion — only the fifth performance of this arrangement in the Western Hemisphere. Featured artists include violinist Grace Park, cellist Ani Aznavoorian, pianist Gilles Vonsattel, and percussionists Ji Hye Jung, Ayano Kataoka, Svet Stoyanov, and Jason Treuting. The program also includes Vonsattel performing Beethoven's Piano Sonata in A Major, Op. 2, No. 2 as part of the ensemble's ongoing three-year Beethoven cycle, alongside percussion works by Thierry De Mey and Kenji Bunch.
