San Jose's Playful People Productions is looking for teens between the ages of 12 and 15 to bring to life the beloved characters in Disney's Frozen Jr. this February. Registration is open now and auditions will be held December 68 at the Historic Hoover Theater in San Jose; proof of Covid vaccinations required for participation. Rehearsals begin January 3, leading up to performances February 25-27. Rehearsals are 4-6:30pm twice per week, but not all actors will be called for all rehearsals. Emily Pennington directs. Based on the wildly popular animated movie Frozen, the musical showcases Princesses Anna and Elsa, as the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. Along the way Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all the favorite characters embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love.
