Playful People Productions presents Between the Lines JR, directed by Emily Pennington, from April 10-12, 2026, at the Historic Hoover Theatre in San Jose. This new musical, based on the novel by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer, explores the journey of Delilah, a young outsider who finds solace in her favorite book, only to discover that her fictional prince can become real. As the boundaries between reality and fantasy blend, Delilah learns to fight for her dreams in the real world. Two casts of teen and tween performers will bring this empowering story to life.
