With his soulful voice and warm stage presence, singer/songwriter, producer and actor AJ Jaffari has delighted City Lights audiences in Kinky Boots and Big Band concerts with the Nineteen ensemble. On Sunday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m., AJ brings us a solo concert celebrating his new album, Stay Awhile.
Enjoy fresh songs from the new release, as well as other songs that AJ has written and released in the past few years. Combining fresh beats with vintage sounds, AJ discovers himself through the truth of love, heartbreak and ’60s Americana. His influences include Lana Del Rey and similar artists of Hollywood sadcore.
AJ is also a veteran podcaster who regularly appears on City Lights’ Filament podcast. Enjoy his fascinating interviews with our artists!
