Violetta is so standard of character, so a bright personality that in comparison with her portrayal of Margaret Dumas pales.
In "La Traviata" F.m. Piave gave musical theatre, contemporary Chronicles, Verdi created a perfect image of the main character, "divine", was intended to embody all the charm of the prima donnas of the 19th century and at the same time very compelling female type, there will no longer be in the operas of the composer. Violetta presents all the action and each character, which in turn is intended to highlight it. With great skill by Verdi was able to show three hypostasis of love the heroine's experience: the cult of freedom peculiar to this beauty, her passion for beloved finally self-sacrifice. Only the heroine Puccini would have such emotional power, but even then we will not see the combination of all these three aspects, all of these three characters in one person, like a cry out to different pieces in each of the actions.
