Yekaterinburg State academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet is a ballet premiere 100-th theatrical season "Buffo" to "Amore Love drink» g. Donizetti. Choreographer-Director Vyacheslav Samodurov performance talks about the new formulation: "Ballet Theatre is called" Amore Buffo "which translates from Italian as" funny love ". It's a comedy show, intended primarily for young audiences. The libretto is based on a slightly modified storyline of famous opera Gaetano Donizetti "L'Elisir d'Amore." As in the Opera, the protagonist, lover boy, tries to win the heart of a girl with "love Elixir". However, the "Amore Buffo" action will unfold against the backdrop of a modern megacity. We have invited artists from the UK, with experience in theatre and cinema, which in itself is interesting for the Ekaterinburg Viewer. The style of decorations can be called an architectural fantasy. Bringing the spectacle of urban elements, we wanted to convey the unique atmosphere of London. Created in the image of the City Theatre, which boils the most varied life, will allow viewers to take a fresh look at familiar story. At the heart of the play is based on the classical choreography of dancers dance on Pointe, an integral part of the plastics steel elements of Art Nouveau. The result was a fusion of classical and modern dance. I tried to make a play alive, natural, free of the cliches and conventions of horeografi?eskomu art, comprehensible to everyone.
