Synopsis
For Djoma Legend, its always been hell being dark skinned. From family, to school to relationships Djoma has always been the black and ugly one.It pains her to watch her dark skinned friends and family go through the same thing. Fed up, she decides somebody gotta pay!

Based on a true story, this play which has a book version was written, produced and performed by Rashida Strober. Rashida Strober is also the author of multiple books on dark skin. In fact, she has written the most books and plays on dark skin than anyone world-wide. Passionate about the topic she has devoted her life and career to dark skin issues. She is the first and only artist/writer/activist to focus her work soley on dark skin. A masterful performer, she has performed at the Atlanta Black Theater Festival and the Washington DC Black Theater Festival among others. She also won the Playwright's Red Carpet Award for actress of the year. Rashida finally brings her award-winning performance to Harlem, New York! Be there!
