It's ROCK OF AGES, a hilarious, feel-good love story told through the hit songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more. This five-time Tony nominated musical, which inspired the star-studded motion picture, is rockin' its way back to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for one night only, Wednesday, January 29, 2104 at 7:30P.

The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre's Gamm Summer Intensive (GSI) is pleased to present a weekend of student-produced and -acted Shakespeare plays, composed of 3 performances each of As You Like It and Macbeth from tonight, July 18 through July 21. This pairing of a favorite comedy with a famous tragedy is the culmination of a 4-week 'extreme' theater training camp for high-school students from Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Gamm Theatre Receives $25,000 NEA Grant

The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) has received a prestigious $25,000 Shakespeare in American Communities grant to perform its Season 29 production of Macbeth (March 6-April 13, 2014) to students from at least 10 Pawtucket, Central Falls and Providence public and charter schools, free of charge or at a greatly reduced cost. The award will also help pay for accompanying educational activities including in-school residencies, workshops and post-performance discussions.

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), which recently concluded its Inaugural Season in its new state-of-the-art theatre inWarwick, is thrilled to announce that they have received a $150,000 Matching Challenge Grant from a small group of anonymous donors. All unrestricted tax-deductible donations, including individual or corporate sponsorships, made to Ocean State Theatre Company until December 31, 2013, will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $150,000.
