The Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS) is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated 2024 Repertory Season, featuring a six-week lineup of celebrated comedies, new play premieres, and a forceful docudrama, all directed, performed or written by ASDS MFA Directing, Acting and Playwriting students who collaborate on professionally produced productions presented at 80 Greenwich Street.

The annual Repertory Season serves as a culmination of three years of intensive training for the graduate acting, directing, and playwriting students who have honed and developed their talent and craft using the collaborative Actors Studio philosophy and tradition. From their very first day of training, ASDS student actors, directors, and playwrights begin to develop their unique artistic voices—voices that arise from their talent, soul, sensitivity, imagination, and the courage to express themselves in the most personal and profound ways –  no matter how diverse the style of theatre. The performances promise to be a testament to their hard work and dedication.

The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of the Tectonic Theater Project, 

Directed by Lindsey Alterman 

Cast: Donovan Fowler, Jesse Kinstler, Parker Jenkins, Alexa Passante, Justin Schulsohn, Nicole Stewart

ASDS has a long-standing tradition of producing graduates who go on to make significant contributions to the world of performing arts. The Repertory Season is a showcase of the next generation of talent, poised to make their mark on the industry. 

"We are incredibly proud of the work our students have put into this year's Repertory Season," said Jee Duman, Program Chair of the Actors Studio Drama School. "This season is a celebration of the dedication, passion, and artistic growth that defines our program. We invite the theater community to join us in experiencing the extraordinary talent of our graduating class."

The design team for Repertory Season is Sean Hagerty* (Sound Design), Jordan McCree (Sound Design), Alex deNevers* (Lighting Design), Amina Alexander (Lighting Design), Brian Pacelli (Scenic Design), Samantha Tutasi, (Scenic Design), Addison Heeran (Properties Design), TBD (Properties Manager), Andreea Mincic, (Costume Design),  Jolene Marie Richardson*(Costume Design),Brian Pacelli* (Projection Design), Ryan Belock* (Projection Design).
