Pop Up Theatre presents a brand new virtual theatre comedy play, 'My Prom Date, The Axe Murderer', written and directed by Scott McQuaid.
Synopsis:
This virtual dark comedy is exactly as the title suggests, only with more surprises woven into the play. The story begins when Seth, the guy with an axe, invades a family home during prom night to hide. Teenager Nancy stresses about the most important night of her life while entertaining this axe-wielding stranger. Things become more complicated when Nancy's mother, Cherie, and their obnoxious neighbour, Edgar, enter the scene. The farcical situation heightens and the plot begins to unravel in this witty, silly R-rated comedy.
