Our season begins with Frank Wildhorn's international hit musical–Jekyll & Hyde–which has been produced in more than 25 countries and translated into multiple languages. Based on the classic 1886 horror novella by Robert Louis Stevenson -- Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde -- is about a respectable doctor who ruins his public reputation and life by using a chemical potion to unleash his hidden, evil alter ego. Renowned for its sweeping score, gothic spectacle, and demanding dual leading role, it remains one of the most complex contemporary dramatic musicals. Our version is determined to make audiences question our roles in society–where comparison-culture and hate dictate our actions and where intelligence without compassion can lead us astray.
