Deceived opens Arizona Theatre Company's 2025/2026 season, adapted by Johnna Wright and Patty Jamieson from Patrick Hamilton's 1938 play Gaslight. This psychological thriller follows a young wife as she grapples with strange occurrences in her home, questioning her sanity and the reality around her. In a climate of paranoia and deception, she embarks on a tense journey to uncover the truth behind the illusions that surround her. The production promises shocking twists and a compelling narrative that explores themes of manipulation and self-discovery.
