Beowulf Alley Theatre Company's ActingLab@the Alley Offers Adult Education Programs

Philip G. Bennett, Dean of Adult Education at Beowulf Alley Theatre, announces two adult education programs beginning in October, 2009. The first is an introductory symposium, Stanislavski's Ultimate Acting Technique (An introduction to Stanislavski's greatest discovery) on Saturday, October 24, 2009, 10:00am to 1:00pm. The course, for actors, directors, and instructors of acting, is called 'Stanislavski's Lost Term...And How to Use the Method of Physical Actions and Active Analysis.' The fee for this 3-hour course is $25 for active participants (wear comfortable clothing for movement) and $15 for observers.
The Prescott Ghost Talk Set To Take Place 10/24

Yavapai Guidance Clinic Foundation will co-sponsor Prescott Ghost Talk 2009, a spooky, scary, and entertaining evening of ghostly folklore, on Oct. 24 at the PFAA Theatre on the corner of Marina and Willis Streets in downtown Prescott. There will be three seatings at 6 pm, 7 pm, and 8 pm at a charge of $10 per seat with all proceeds benefiting the two nonprofit organizations.

East Valley Children’s Theatre Announces Fall Workshops

One day introductory and intensive workshop will be held at EVCT, October 31, November 7, 14 at 9-11am and 11:30am-1:30pm. Cost of the workshop is $25 for one workshop or $35 for two workshops on the same day. All workshops are held at the EVCT rehearsal studio, 4830 East Main Street Mesa (located east of Greenfield Road on the north side of the street in Arden Square Plaza.)
