Arizona Theatre Company Extends AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' 12/20

Due to audience demand, Arizona Theatre Company has added a performance of AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' on Sunday, December 20 at 2 PM.

A joyously creative songwriter of the 1920s and 30s, Fats Waller penned over 400 songs in his career - many of which entered the classic repertoire of jazz standards that are still being sung today. Bright lights. Glamorous gowns. And finger-snapping, toe-tappin' music. Travel back to Harlem's sassy, swinging renaissance with a composer and pianist with a legendary lust for life. Thomas "Fats" Waller created jubilant melodies, soulful ballads and gleeful love songs like "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter", "Honeysuckle Rose", "I Can't Give You Anything but Love" and, of course, "Ain't Misbehavin'".

The Arizona Daily Star raves, Ain't Misbehavin' "totally seduces with its bluesy songs, jazzy renditions and abundance of attitude and heart."

Tickets start at $31 and are available at arizonatheatre.org or by calling the box office at (520) 622-2823. Discounts are available for students, seniors and active military on specific performance days. Half-price rush tickets are available for balcony seating for all performances one hour prior to curtain at the ATC box office (subject to availability).
