A famous boxer, disillusioned by discrimination and deception, reinvents himself as a dancing, singing, saxophone-playing cabaret star. When he becomes a poet's muse and the boxing ring calls him back to regain his title, the show questions whether it is the return of a prodigal hero or a final sacrifice to a deadly sport. The world premiere features performers Venrick James, Matthu Minnens and Jackson Purdy, with writer/choreographer Keila Cordova, set designer Andrew Thompson, and lighting designer Christine Causer. Presented by 3 Pony Show as part of the Cannonball Festival and Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
