In 2018 WA will present two plays currently on the Drama Syllabus to be read live for your students by members of the WA Youth Theatre under the direction of a noted Western Australian theatre director. Following the reading, a Curriculum specific Q&A will take place with the director, the cast and a drama education specialist.
This is a very affordable opportunity for students and teachers to hear a live reading of a set text play which will otherwise not be performed in Perth during the school year. This is also a chance for interested year 11 & 12 drama students to engage with the state’s peak organisation for young people interested in professional theatre training.
