Today, Disney+ released the trailer for its upcoming original series “Secrets of the Whales,” which plunges viewers deep within the epicenter of whale culture to reveal the mysterious and beautiful world of five different whale species: orcas, humpbacks, belugas, narwhals and sperm whales. 

Global box office phenomenon “Avatar” will be available on Disney+ when the highly-anticipated streaming service launches in the U.S., Canada and The Netherlands on November 12, followed by Australia and New Zealand on November 19, it was announced today.  Disney+ will be the exclusive subscription streaming home of the award-winning cutting-edge film, which will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its theatrical release on December 18.  From visionary director James Cameron, “Avatar” was the first motion picture of its kind to utilize a new generation of special effects to deliver a fully immersive cinematic experience. The Oscar® and Golden Globe®-winning epic is the second highest-grossing film of all time. 

Netflix has released the final trailer for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Based on The Dark Crystal, Jim Henson's groundbreaking 1982 feature film, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance tells a new story, set many years before the events of the movie, and realized using classic puppetry with cutting edge visual effects.

A high school in New Jersey had taken the internet by storm with their stage production of Alien. Following the viral story, the film's original director, Ridley Scott, reached out and to offer to assist in funding an encore performance of the production. The school presented an encore performance last night, April 26, and they had a surprise guest in attendance! The star of the original movie, Sigourney Weaver, came to the show!
