An all-star cast came together in London's West End for a thrilling, joyous celebration of the extraordinary talents and legacy of composer & lyricist Stephen Sondheim at the theatre which was gloriously rebuilt and renamed in his honor. Cameron Mackintosh has invited Stephen Sondheim’s old friends to join him in celebrating his extraordinary talents and legacy at the Sondheim Theatre which was recently gloriously rebuilt in Sondheim’s honour and thanks the cast and company and everyone involved for agreeing to a special screening which will allow over 2,500 to see the performance.

The 2020 Olivier Awards ceremony sadly won't be going ahead as planned due to the shutdown, although ITV will broadcast a special highlights programme this Sunday night instead. That got us thinking about some of our favourite Oliviers moments - which we'll be sharing later in the week! - and also looking back to last year's amazing ceremony.

For this week's throwback, we are highlighting the 2006 Broadway revival of Company that opened on this day, November 29th, starring Raúl Esparza as Bobby, as well as Barbara Walsh as Joanne. Currently running on the West End is a reimagining of the musical with Rosalie Craig as Bobbie and Patti LuPone as Joanne! Tony and Olivier-award winner Patti LuPone will be starring in a new production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Tony award-winning musical, Company.

Hailed as a remarkable, ground-breaking work during two sell-out runs at the National Theatre, the feature film adaptation of LONDON ROAD reunites the award winning team, with script by Alecky Blythe, music by Adam Cork and directed by Rufus Norris (Broken).

Sunday night, April 12, Donmar Warehouse's CITY OF ANGELS won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival. Rebecca Trehearn and Rosalie Craig performed What You Don't Know About Women on the live broadcast.

The new musical FINDING NEVERLAND just premieredin Leicester on September 22, where it will run through October 13. The cast features Julian Ovenden as James Barrie, Rosalie Craig as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, Liz Robertson as Mrs DuMaurier, and Clare Foster as Mary Barrie together with a cast of 20 and a live orchestra. Julian Ovenden and Rosalie Craig star in a new musical version of the film Finding Neverland, which starred Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. The musical features Ovenden as Barrie, a role he played in two London workshops last winter, and Craig as Sylvia. The show will have a four to five week run scheduled at the Curve Theatre in Leicester. Performances will run through October 18, 2012.

Stephen Sondheim's musical COMPANY began performances at the Crucible Theatre at the end of November, with an official opening night on 5th December. The show will continue through 7th January.
