Gun & Powder will run from January 28 a?' February 23, 2020 in Signature Theatre's intimate MAX Theatre and will be directed by Robert O'Hara (Broadway's Slave Play).

Jeremy O. Harris was a guest on Last Night with Seth Meyers to talk about his Broadway show, Slave Play. During the interview, Harris talks about his love for Rihanna, her music in Slave Play, and receiving texts from her during the show. Harris also talks to host Seth Meyers about how he wants to make Broadway more affordable and how he scams people to get free tickets to theater shows.

The best of Broadway gathered at the Golden Theatre last night, October 6, to celebrate the arrival of Slave Play, the acclaimed new play by Jeremy O. Harris, directed by Robert O'Hara, opens tonight, October 6, at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). INSURRECTION: HOLDING HISTORY, directed by Wardell Julius Clark, opened at Stage Left Theatre on January 11th and runs through February 11th. The play, by Robert O'Hara, tells the story of a young African-American man who trying to complete his grad school thesis on Nat Turner's Slave Rebellion. Aided by his great-great grandfather, he travels back in time to meet Nat in person.

After a smash run last fall, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will present MILES FOR MARY, a new play by The Mad Ones. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, MILES FOR MARY received critical acclaim during its fall 2016 run at The Bushwick Starr. Watch the new trailer below!

Next up at Encores! Off-Center is Kirsten Childs' delightful, provocative, and poignant 2000 musical, The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, running July 26-27. Following a young African-American dancer, Viveca, from West Coast suburbia to Broadway, all the while navigating the politics of race and gender in an attempt to uncover her own identity, The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin is directed by Robert O'Hara with choreography by Byron Easley and music direction by Annastasia Victory.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will present the world premiere of UniSon by OSF ensemble-in-residence UNIVERSES, directed by Robert O'Hara, on April 23 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre. Preview performances are April 19, 21 and 22; the production will run through October 28, 2017.
