Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell is coming back to London next month, with performances beginning April 2. This will be a return to West End for the rock opera. It played a limited run at the London Coliseum earlier in 2017, in addition to runs at the Manchester Opera House and Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre. The show is also said to be eyeing a potential Broadway run as well.

The Pasadena Playhouse presents A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN. Conceived, written and directed by Randy Johnson, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox and musical direction by Tyler Evans. A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN stars Mary Bridget Davies, following her Tony Award nominated Broadway run. Pasadena native Kacee Clanton, also from the Broadway production of A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, will alternate the role of Janis Joplin with Davies. Titled 'The Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History', the book will hit shelves on November 5th from Simon & Schuster Publishing. With the recent rumors that rocker Alice Cooper is in negotiations to take on the role of supervillain the Green Goblin in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, you might be wondering what 'The Godfather of Shock Rock' would sound like singing on Broadway. It turns out that Cooper recorded a version of 'King Herod's Song' for the 1996 studio recording of Andrew Lloyd Webber's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. He was not part of the original 1996 London stage cast but was brought in just to sing the tune. Listen below!
