The new musical Passing Through, is wrapping up its run at Goodspeed Opera House this weekend. According to a new report, the show has its sights set on NYC.

Passing Through is now open at Goodspeed Musicals. The show features music and lyrics by Brett Ryback, book by Eric Ulloa, choreography by Marcos Santana, and direction by Igor Goldin. The show is based on the memoir 'Walking to Listen' by Andrew Forsthoefel.

Over two decades after giving Rent its legendary Broadway look, she returns to give the characters equally memorable costumes for Rent on Fox. This new year will bring the 48th anniversary of Janis Joplin's untimely death and 50th anniversary celebration for Woodstock, so BroadwayHD is opening the new year by releasing A NIGHT WITH Janis Joplin starring the show's Tony-nominated star Mary Bridget Davies. The cast will also feature Aurianna Angelique, Ashley Támar Davis, Tawny Dolley, Paige McNamara and Jennifer Leigh Warren. This tribute to the iconic rock star will be released on what would have been her 76th birthday, January 19. 

Broadway Veteran Jennifer Leigh Warren is reprising her role as The Blues Singer in North Carolina Theatre's 'A Night With Janis Joplin.' She played the role in the first and second national tour and spoke to me about the blues, Janis Joplin, and what's next. In response to the devastating events in Japan, producers Patty Onagan and Ronn Goswick presented Rebuild Japan: A Benefit Concert at The Pasadena Playhouse, a one-night-only event on Monday, April 4 at 7:30pm.
