Interview: Jennifer Leigh Warren Sings The Blues in North Carolina Theatre's A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN
Broadway Veteran Jennifer Leigh Warren is reprising her role as The Blues Singer in North Carolina Theatre's A Night With Janis Joplin. She played the role in the first and second national tour. She says she loves "A Night With Janis Joplin" because it feels more like the concert Joplin would've played had she lived more than a juke box musical. She spoke to me about the blues, Janis Joplin, and what's next. A Night With Janis Joplin runs through May 20th at The Fletcher Opera Theatre. For more information, visit www.nctheatre.com.
