With just 50 days to go until MAMMA MIA! returns home to Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre, the global smash hit musical has released a new video trailer featuring the Broadway-bound company. 

Edward Scissorhands: Matthew Bourne’s dance version of Tim Burton’s classic, has been filmed for the big screen and will be released in cinemas across the UK and internationally for the first time from Wednesday 25th September 2024. Watch a video clip here!

Christine Sherrill, a former 5th-grade teacher at St. Joseph Catholic Academy in Kenosha, Wisconsin, will return to her home state as one of the stars in the hit musical Mamma Mia when the national touring production opens in Milwaukee next week. Watch in this video!

MAMMA MIA! is back on stage! The production began performances on 25 August 2021 at London's Novello Theatre. MAMMA MIA!, now in its 23rd year, is currently booking until 2 April 2022. 

With Mary Poppins Returns coming to movie theaters in a week, I thought the perfect  #TBT would be a look back at the Opening Night of Mary Poppins on Broadway. So I dove back into the BroadwayWorld archives and found the 2006 video (when we were formerly known as BroadwayBeat) with Ashley Brown, straight from starring as 'Belle' Beauty and the Beast on Broadway! And lets not forget Gavin Lee who made his Broadway debut with Mary Poppins.

Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid (Frida) Lyngstad, the original members of ABBA, made a rare group appearance last night at the opening of an ABBA-inspired restaurant, Mamma Mia! The Party in Stockholm.

The new production of Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy HARVEY directed by Lindsay Posner and starring James Dreyfus as Elwood P. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as Veta Louise Simmons, will play a limited season at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket from Tuesday 17 March until Saturday 2 May, with a Gala Night on Monday 23 March. The production will first open at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 6 February, running until 21 February, with a national press night on Tuesday 17 February. After Birmingham, the production will play in Malvern from 24 to 28 February and Richmond from 3 to 7 March. Check out the trailer below!

The new cast of West End's MAMMA MIA! appeared at the Prince of Wales Theatre, and has now moved to its new home at the Novello Theatre from 6 September 2012. The new cast includes Gary Milner, real-life wife Sally Ann Triplett, Neil Roberts as Harry Bright, James Gaddas as Bill Austin, Charlotte Wakefield as Sophie Sheridan, Andreas Gyllander as Sky, Abiola Ogunbiyi as Ali, Tasha Taylor Johnson as Lisa, Steven Oliver as Pepper and Liam Doyle as Eddie. At certain performances, the role of 'Donna Sheridan' will be played by Claire Poyzer. Joanna Monro and Kim Ismay will continue as Rosie and Tanya respectively. For the theatre, George Stiles and Anthony Drewe expanded the song to make it 'a stage excursion for the whole cast.' The award-winning musical "Mary Poppins", which opened Friday, August 10th at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles has once again been declared a spectacular hit with Los Angeles audiences. MAMMA MIA! opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre on October 18, 2001, and has become one of the most successful musicals of all time anywhere in the world, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. In September of this year, MAMMA MIA! becomes the 10th longest running show in Broadway history and MAMMA MIA! The Movie is the most successful live musical film of all time.

The Sacramento premiere of MARY POPPINS opens Friday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center Theater for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, June 19, 2011. MARY POPPINS plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m., with an additional performance on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. 'Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations, but there are still great seats available' said Richard Lewis, executive producer of California Musical Theatre.

Following a return sold out smash hit engagement in Melbourne, where MAMMA MIA! made its premiere in 2001, the 10th Anniversary Australian tour opened in Perth this week, where it will play a strictly limited eight weeks before transferring to Brisbane.

Mamma Mia! celebrated its 300th performance in Mexico at Centro Cultural Telmex 1. The production is performed entirely in Spanish.
