Fresh off being nominated for 14 Tony Awards, the cast of the hit musical 'Hadestown' headed to the plaza during TODAY's Best of Broadway Week for a live performance of 'Livin' It Up on Top.'

To celebrate 14 Tony Award nominations, HADESTOWN held a special celebration outside the theatre last night following the evening's performance! The cast took to the balcony outside the Walter Kerr Theatre, and performed some music for the fans!

Theatregoers need not travel all the way to the underworld to catch Broadway's latest hit. Hadestown, following runs at New York Theatre Workshop, Canada's Citadel Theatre, and London's National Theatre, opened just last night at the Walter Kerr Theatre. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the big night and we're showing you what happened after the curtain came down below!

 ZACH Theatre announces cast for the Austin premiere of the Tony Award-winning hit, Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical, running April 3 - May 12, 2019 in The Topfer.  Based on the much-loved children's book by Roald Dahl, featuring music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, and a Tony Award-winning book by Dennis Kelly, ZACH's Associate Artistic Director Abe Reybold and Director of Education Nat Miller will co-direct this riotously uplifting musical that will make audiences of all generations burst with joy.

Symphony Siren and Broadway Diva N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim and Sondheim), is currently in Sophisticated Ladies, directed by Emmy Award Winner and multiple Tony Award Nominee Andre De Shields with choreography by Kimberly Schafer alongside other Broadway veterans and young stars.

Last night, Rita Moreno joined her 'One Day at a Time' costar Justina Machado and creator Gloria Calderon on the 'Busy Tonight' couch. During the interview, Moreno talks playing Lydia on the Netflix remake of the hit '70s show and she even divulges some information about the upcoming reboot of 'West Side Story'!

Get a sneak peek of the highly anticipated Hadestown, which begins previews in March. The cast just gave a sneak preview at The McKittrick Hotel in New York on Thursday, where they performed select songs from the show, including 'Way Down Hadestown.'

King Kong has just dropped an all new TV spot! The commercial features footage from the show, including, of course, the iconic puppet.

Netflix has released the trailer for HIGH FLYING BIRD starring André Holland and Zazie Beetz.

Last night, Jimmy Fallon visited Puerto Rico in a special 'Tonight Show' episode, which featured Lin-Manuel Miranda, the Hamilton Puerto Rico cast, Chef Jose Andres, music from Bad Bunny and Jose Feliciano and Ozuna, plus a crazy zip line ride with Jimmy, Black Thought and Questlove.

On last night's episode of 'The Tonight Show,' Jimmy Fallon was in Puerto Rico where he joined Lin-Manuel Miranda and the new HAMILTON touring cast for an exclusive performance of 'The Story of Tonight' from the blockbuster musical.

'The Tonight Show' has shared an exclusive first-look of Jimmy Fallon's visit to Puerto Rico in a special Tonight Show episode, airing Tuesday, January 15 at 11:35 p.m. ET, featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda with the Hamilton Puerto Rico cast, Chef Jose Andres, music from Bad Bunny and Jose Feliciano and Ozuna, plus a crazy zip line ride with Jimmy, Black Thought and Questlove.

The upcoming remake of WEST SIDE STORY directed by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by Tony Kushner has announced additional casting according to Deadline. Ariana DeBose will star as Anita, Tony Award Winner David Alvarez as Bernardo, and Josh Andres Rivera has been cast as Chino.
