Today we rewind to 2011 for opening night of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The musical, directed by Simon Phillips, played for 526 performances at the Palace Theatre.

The producers of the Broadway hit Waitress announced today that for the third year running they will be supporting the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this October.

Last night The Public Theater celebrated the 50th Anniversary of HAIR, the American tribal love-rock musical that originally opened at The Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. The Covenant House just held the Second Annual Sleep Out: Broadway Edition last night, August 17, 2014, where members of the Broadway community spent the night sleeping on the streets outside the Covenant House to raise much needed funds for homeless youth. In the video below, this year's participants join together in 'Lean on Me.'
