A new musical of the hit film Ever After will be directed by Doug Hughes and will feature a score by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich when it bows on Broadway in 2007

The League Of Off-Broadway Theatres And Producers is proud to announce the nominations for THE 20TH ANNUAL LUCILLE LORTEL AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT OFF-BROADWAY, which will be presented on Monday, May 2nd at Dodger Stages (340 West 50th Street) at 7 PM. A late night supper will follow at Ruth's Chris Steak House (148 West 51st Street). A cocktail reception to congratulate all of the nominees will be held on April 18th at Ruby Foo's Uptown (2182 Broadway at 77th Street).
Because of a last-minute change in his travel schedule, JOHN TARTAGLIA (Avenue Q) will not be appearing in THE MARCY & ZINA SHOW at Birdland tonight. The show, however, will go on as scheduled at 7pm.
Unfortunately, a scheduling conflict has forced singer Max von Essen to cancel his Birdland debut on Monday, March 28. A substitute date will be announced shortly. Songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will replace von Essen in the 7pm slot. Their Birdland concert this coming Monday, March 7, is completely sold-out, so disappointed fans will have another chance to see The Marcy & Zina Show.
The New York-based award-winning songwriting team of composer, Zina Goldrich and lyricist, Marcy Heisler are bringing The Marcy & Zina Show to BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street) for a one-night only performace Monday, March 7, 2005. They will be joined by John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), Julia Murney (Lennon and The Wild Party), Ana Gasteyer ('Saturday Night Live'), composer/performers Amanda Green & Tom Kitt and many more. This evening is part of The Winter Season, presented by Jim Caruso in association with TheaterMania.com, which features top Broadway and cabaret performers at the world-class music room. There is a $25 cover and $10 food/drink minimum.
