Black Theatre United has engaged Christina Alexander of Alexander Consulting Group to create a digital Unconscious Bias and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility & Belonging (EDIAB) training program for use by the entire theatrical industry.

Some Like It Hot has released a new music video featuring Christian Borle, J. Harrison Ghee, Adrianna Hicks, Kevin del Aguila, and NaTasha Yvette Williams performing the show’s title song.

On Monday, May 9, Tony Award-winner Debbie Gravitte stormed the Birdland stage with another episode of her series “Plus 1,” with very special guest, songwriter Marc Shaiman. 

Her special guests for May 9 will include NaTasha Yvette Williams (Waitress), Christian Thompson (Ain’t Too Proud), and Hayley Podschun (Wicked), in addition to students from the Manhattan School of Music. Each show has a $40 music charge. Birdland is located at 315 West 44th Street in New York.

The classic comedy Some Like It Hot will begin performances on Broadway this fall! New York Stage and Film's 2021 Winter Gala was held this past Monday, December 13 at The Edison Rooftop, 233 West 46 Street. The celebratory Gala evening included play excerpts from works by Keelay Gipson, Beth Henley, and Josh Radnor.

Producers of the Broadway play Chicken & Biscuits announced that the production will resume performances on Friday, November 19, 2021, before playing a final performance of its limited engagement at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street) on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
