The release of second season of filmed musical drama CELLS on 21 March, a year after the first season was released in 2021, in partnership with Royal & Derngate Northampton, The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch and the Taunton Brewhouse, and a Christmas season of THE LITTLE PRINCE, opening at the Taunton Brewhouse this Christmas.

 The Fred Ebb Foundation has announced that their Fred Ebb Award ceremony, previously set for January 3rd, 2022 at Birdland Jazz Club, has been postponed. 

The Fred Ebb Foundation will present the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to the team of Isabella Dawis & Tidtaya Sinutoke. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented on Monday January 3rd, 2022, at a by-invitation-only ceremony at Birdland Jazz Club

Joining the cast are Ken Christiansen (Everybody's Talking About Jamie, It's a Sin, Mother Courage and her Children) as 'Nick', Kinny Gardner (Godspell, The Rocky Horror Show, The Mousetrap) as 'Sid', Rebecca Hayes (A Christmas Carol, Cylch Sialc, The Pact) as 'Robin', Andrew Patrick-Walker (Jerry Springer – The Opera, Brooklyn the Musical, The Muppets Most Wanted) as 'Jeremy', Joshua Steel (Aladdin, Friendsical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) as 'Connor', and Phil Snowden (Billy Elliot, Les Miserables and Bridgerton) as 'Dennis'.

On November 25, Michael Pennington will pick up his staff and books and don his robes once more, to return to the Jermyn Street Theatre stage to play Prospero in this critically hailed production of Shakespeare’s final play. 

Prospect Theater Company has announced two special one-night-only concert performances of new musical theater work at NYC’s Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street). On Tuesday, October 26 at 7:30pm the company presents REIGNITE, an evening of new songs from works-in-process by an exciting lineup of emerging and established writers.

Aria Entertainment and Metta Theatre have announced that Noel Sullivan will star as 'Grey' in the premiere of brand-new life affirming musical THE RHYTHMICS this winter, playing at the Southwark Playhouse from 2 December to 8 January, with a press night on Tuesday 7 December. Recent graduate Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos will make her professional debut alongside Noel, playing 'Silva'.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company announced today that applications for the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters are now available. Applications will be accepted from June 1 - June 30, 2021. The winner will be selected in November of 2021.
