Halloween season will be more magical than ever this year with two locations of the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze!

Open Stage presents the 2020-2021 season with completely free access to all virtual shows.

Historic Hudson Valley will welcome visitors back to Washington Irvinga??s Sunnyside for a special outdoor-only experience beginning on August 7, 2020.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its New Works Series on Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 at 7PM EDT, featuring excerpts from the new musicals The Dogs of Pripyat and Tarrytown. The 40-minute presentation will also feature the creators of the new musicals.

The Broadway Podcast network will celebrate Pride month with a special section of the website highlighting a variety of programming to mark the occasion.

Adam Wachter's original musical, Tarrytown, offers a contemporary twist to an iconic story, based on Washington Irving's 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and features the astonishing voices of Jeremy Jordan, Andy Mientus, and Krysta Rodriguez. This trio is pure magic and their voices make this legend anything but sleepy.

The story picks up in the final pages of Washington Irving's classic, Sleepy Hollow, revealing a previously untold piece of the legend. After Ichabod disappears, his students are determined to find out the truth of what happened. Their new schoolteacher, Abigail Seymour, is more focused on teaching than chasing ghosts - that is until she has her own run in with the Horseman. Now, she and the students must hurry to retrace Ichabod's final night in Sleepy Hollow and find a way to stop the Horseman once and for all. Along the way, we discover new revelations, gain clues on who the Headless Horseman could be and meet all the original Irving characters from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Brooklyn Tavern Theater, led by composer/lyricist/writer Dan Furman, is presenting 'Impossible but True,' a 'tavern musical' inspired by Washington Irving's Rip Van Winkle story, through October 29 at Franklin 820 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and in Manhattan at Uncle Charlie's, 139 East 45th Street.
