Historic Hudson Valley announces the expansion of its blockbuster event Irving's 'Legend,' the dramatic retelling of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, with more performances than ever before. The Halloween tradition at the Old Dutch Church now features both afternoon and evening performances on select dates in October 2018.

Historic Hudson Valley announces the expansion of its Halloween-themed events, the largest in the tri-state area, with The Unsilent Picture, an immersive theater experience coming to Philipsburg Manor in October 2018.

After a sold-out workshop run in March, Paranormal History Productions returns to Colonnade Row with an official limited run of The Bloody Deed of 1857 for the autumn season. The immersive 90 minute play is an adaptation of news accounts which reported the breathless daily developments about a sensational murder that took place on nearby Bond Street. Elise Gainer, author of Ghosts and Murders of Manhattan, credits the nearby Merchant's House Museum with the idea to turn this true-life murder into a play. The work was selected as the featured piece in the Tectonic Theatre Project's Advanced Moment Work Master Class with Moises Kaufman in May 2017. Ken Davenport, the veteran Broadway producer, consulted on this unique immersive experience including script and overall project development.

Halloween in Sleepy Hollow Country is legendary, and now there's more frightful fun than ever before! Historic Hudson Valley's fall events, the largest in the tri-state area, kick off Friday, Sept. 28, and take place on selected evenings through Saturday, Nov. 24. Historic Hudson Valley expects to draw more than 250,000 visitors to Sleepy Hollow Country this fall.

With the perfect combination of Synetic Theater veterans and first-timers, Paata Tsikurishvili is stacking the deck with his one-of-a-kind production of Washington Irving's Sleepy Hollow. Scott Turner will haunt the stage as the Headless Horseman tumbling and tussling with Vato Tsikurishvili's physically adept Ichabod Crane. Jesse McLean and Jordan Clark Halsey will make their Synetic Theater debuts as the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel and Crane's rival Brom, respectively. Synetic regulars Thomas Beheler (Van Tassel) and Justin Bell (Van Ripper) will return for this hauntingly beautiful Fall spectacle, and are joined by several Synetic alums and new-comers to fill out the cast in the ever-important and varied Ensemble roles.

North American engagements in 2018-19 include dates with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Bernard Haitink, Beethoven at Carnegie Hall and Mozart in Montreal, and song recitals with regular duo partner Mark Padmore

After more than 60 sold-out performances in 2016 and 2017, Old Sturbridge Village (OSV) once again brings Serenbe Playhouse's The Sleepy Hollow Experience to the living history museum this fall. Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Since the festival's inception in 2001, REBEL VERSES has provided young artists, ages 13-19, with the opportunity to collaborate and network with their peers and prominent artists, and to showcase their original work. This two-week event, now in its second season Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre, will feature over one hundred artists and performers from ten young-artist companies hailing from all five boroughs of New York City and beyond.

A live concert experience isn't the conventional path to creating a theater production, but Trademark Theater isn't interested in being a traditional theater company.  That's why they're presenting The Hollow, a concert event to be held on September 13th at Hook and Ladder in Minneapolis' Longfellow neighborhood.
