A top production of the hit musical, Purlie is now being presented by American Theater Group (ATG) at Hamilton Stage in Rahway, and the show is wowing its audiences. 

Broadway veteran Kenny Ingram will direct American Theater Group’s (ATG) production of the exhilarating and Tony Award-winning musical Purlie at Hamilton Stage in Rahway, NJ. Gary Mitchell, Jr. will provide Musical Direction.

In an historic gesture, every Broadway and Off-Broadway theater owner dimmed the lights on all theaters honoring veteran performer Adrian Bailey. Traditionally, this honor is only given to Tony Award-Winning Broadway stars. Check out photos from the event.

For 20 years Alpine Theatre Project has brought artists direct from Broadway to Whitefish to perform and teach.

This year, that recipient is the Tony Award winner Lillias White, who will be honored on May 22nd in a glitzy gala filled with show business greats.

Ford's Theatre Society is presenting the world-premiere musical Grace, with Music and Lyrics by Nolan Williams, Jr.; Book by Nolan Williams, Jr., and Nikkole Salter; and Directed and Choreographed by Robert Barry Fleming.

Packed with an eclectic mix of styles including Jazz, R&B, rousing up-tempos and raise-the-roof ballads, Grace is a new musical examining the little-told history of African-American culinary tradition and the challenges faced by Black-owned businesses.

ATP describes “Love Heals” as a poignant and inspiring celebration of our individual differences, our collective humanity, and the voices we can share to improve the world as we continue to try and come out on the other side of a tumultuous year. The theater community is coming together in Times Square today for the first time since Broadway was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March. The event, 'A Moment for Broadway,' is organized by volunteer organization NYCNext as part of a series of pop-up performances designed to bring renewed vibrancy to New York City.
