West Jefferson, NC Country music songwriter and performing artist, Taylon Hope, has checked off another of her dreams since relocating to Nashville to pursue her career in Country music. Hope announced earlier this month via social media she would be playing at the world-famous Wildhorse Saloon on historic 2nd Ave North in Nashville, TN and has secured ongoing dates. 

Among nominations for ACM Guitarist of the Year and Americana Musician of the Year; touring with Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, and Vince Gill; and playing on countless A-list Nashville recording sessions, Jedd Hughes has never lost focus on what he'd intended to do since he was an 8 year-old aspiring musician in Quorn, Australia; write and play his own music. WEST, Jedd Hughes's highly anticipated return to the spotlight, will be released on August 30. Self produced and mixed by Hughes, WEST runs the gamut of emotions through its dynamic ten song tracklist, drawing on a number of close friends' heavyweight musical talent as well as a stunning string quartet for more than half of the album. Hughes's songs are largely self-written and intimate, but a few co-writers are sprinkled throughout WEST, including the aforementioned Crowell, as well as Parker Milsap, Sarah Buxton, and the late, great Guy Clark.

THE UNITED STATES NAVY BAND CRUISERS is one of the premier musical organizations of the U.S. Navy. The Cruisers will perform in Ocean Grove as part of OGCMA's traditional family entertainment offerings.

The 23-city tour will launch in Springfield, Missouri on October 3 and will also feature stops in Atlanta, San Antonio, Phoenix, Sacramento and more before concluding November 17 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Rubicon Theatre Company announces two performances of an intimate concert featuring Golden Globe Award-Winner and Grammy nominee Amanda McBroom, presented as part of the 2018-2019 Janet and Mark L. Goldenson Broadway Concert Series. Amanda McBroom, a Rubicon favorite both as a singer and actress, returns to Rubicon with a concert version of her hit play Lady Macbeth Sings the Blues on Saturday June 8 at 8p.m. and Sunday June 9 at 2 p.m.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) presents a full lineup of events for its 25th Anniversary season, ranging from world renowned headliners such as Tony Bennett and Audra McDonald to touring Broadway productions including RENT to the best in dance, comedy, classical, world music and family shows.

Due to overwhelming demand, a third and final show has been added on Saturday, October 5 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring the Eagles - Don Henley, Joe Walshand Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill -  performing their iconic album 'Hotel California' in its entirety, for the first time in the band's career.  These three concerts are the only North American performances for the Eagles this year. 

Baillie & the Boys, gained prominence in the late 1980s as the trio (Kathie Baillie, Michael Bonagura, and Alan LeBoeuf) first found work singing harmony vocals on singles for Ed Bruce, Dan Seals, and Randy Travis, and Bonagura co-wrote Marie Osmond's single 'There's No Stopping Your Heart'. In 1987, Baillie & the Boys were signed to a record deal with RCA Records. Their self-titled album was released that year, producing three Top 20 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles charts. Turn The Tide, their second album, was released a year later. It produced four consecutive Top 10 hits on the country charts, including '(Wish I Had A) Heart of Stone', their highest-charting single.

Lori McKenna will release new acoustic versions of Bittertown's “Bible Song” and “Stealing Kisses” July 24 on CN Records in honor of the album's 15 year anniversary. The re-recorded songs were produced by Luke Laird and recorded at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, TN.
