The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that British actor, writer and showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge will receive the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year. Leading theatre publisher Nick Hern Books is to release a new edition of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's award-winning play Fleabag a?' the inspiration for the international hit TV series of the same name a?' alongside the show's upcoming West End run at Wyndham's Theatre, London.

National Theatre Live will broadcast the award-winning, one-woman show Fleabag, that inspired the BBC's hit TV series, live to cinemas from London's West End on September 12. 

DryWrite, Soho Theatre and Annapurna Theatre have today announced three brand new ways to see the critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning FLEABAG in the West End this summer. There will be a live cinema broadcast of the production on 12th September, an online lottery for £15 tickets to every performance of the show and £10 standing tickets which are to be made available at box office daily. The production runs at Wyndham's Theatre from 20th August - 14th September.

DryWrite, Soho Theatre and Annapurna Theatre have today announced that the critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning FLEABAG is to play the West End for a strictly limited four week run this summer. Written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and directed by Vicky Jones, the one-woman show just finished playing to a sold-out house Off-Broadway in New York, and premiered its second season on BBC Three to universal acclaim. The homecoming run will be the last time Waller-Bridge will perform the piece. The play will begin previews on 20 August 2019 with an opening night on Wednesday 28th August 7:30pm at Wyndham's Theatre. Tickets go on sale to the public at 3pm today, with 25% of tickets at 25 or less.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the nominations for the 2019 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards. These awards reward the very best in television craft and television programmes broadcast in the UK in 2018. The Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards ceremony will be held at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 12 May with the British Academy Television Craft Awards taking place two weeks earlier on Sunday 28 April at The Brewery, London.

FLEABAG has recouped its investment Off-Broadway. Capitalized at $400,000, the show opened to rave reviews at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) and has recouped in three weeks.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge was a guest on last night's episode of 'Late Night with Seth Meyers.' During the interview, Waller-Bridge talks about the origins of Fleabag, her pre-show rituals and casting guinea pigs for the play.

The producers of Fleabag have announced a cancellation line for performances of the strictly limited and sold out engagement. Beginning one hour prior to curtain, cancellation tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be sold at full price ($125). The cancellation line is outside the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Ticket availability is not guaranteed.
