Producer Daryl Roth announced today full casting for the new Off-Broadway musical Between the Lines . The production will star Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, Wicked), Jason Gotay (Evita, Bring It On: The Musical), Morgan Siobhan Green (Be More Chill), Vicki Lewis (Damn Yankees, Anastasia), Will Burton (Kiss Me, Kate; Hello, Dolly!), Jerusha Cavazos (The Prom), Pierre Marais (Aladdin), John Rapson (Les Misérables), Carrie St. Louis (Kinky Boots, Wicked), and Julia Murney (Wicked).

Phil Hartman is best known for his iconic impersonations of Bill Clinton in countless “Saturday Night Live” skits, voicing Troy McClure on “The Simpsons” and starring in the sitcom “NewsRadio.” Despite his professional success, Hartman's personal life was far from perfect. In the early hours of May 28, 1998, Phil's wife, Brynn, fatally shot him before she died by suicide. Now, over 20 years after their deaths, a two-hour ABC News television event details Phil's life, legacy and tragic murder. The news special features an exclusive interview with Gregory Omdahl, Brynn's brother, speaking out to set the record straight about his sister; exclusive Hartman family home videos that give a rare look into the lives of one of Hollywood's most intriguing couples; and a never-before-seen interview with Phil. “The Last Days of Phil Hartman” airs Thursday, Sept. 19 (9:00–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
Izabela Rose Leads Ensemble Cast for New Disney Channel Original Movie UPSIDE-DOWN MAGIC

Newcomer Izabela Rose and Siena Agudong ('No Good Nick') have been cast in 'Upside-Down Magic,' a Disney Channel Original Movie based on The New York Times bestselling fantasy-fiction children's books of the same name. Vicki Lewis ('Finding Nemo,' 'Newsradio'), Kyle Howard ('My Boys'), Elie Samouhi ('Bizaardvark'), Alison Fernandez ('Once Upon a Time') and Max Torina ('Raven's Home') will also star. Suzanne Farwell ('The Holiday,' 'Something's Gotta Give'), Susan Cartsonis ('Descendants 3,' 'The Duff') will executive produce, along with Joe Nussbaum ('Just Add Magic,' 'Gabby Duran & The Unsittables'), who also serves as director. Production begins today and the movie is slated to air next summer.

BroadwayWorld has learned that The Muny announced today 25 principal cast members for the first season of its second century. Complete company casting will be announced throughout April and May. The 101st season opens on a brand new, state-of-the-art stage with Muny favorite Guys and Dolls followed by the U.S. regional premiere of Kinky Boots. The season continues with 1776, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, Footloose and a newly-reimagined Lerner and Loewe's Paint Your Wagon. Season 101 closes with the highly-anticipated Muny debut of Roald Dahl's Matilda.

Upon closing, Anastasia will have played 808 regular and 34 preview performances at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street).

Nassim Soleimanpour is an Iranian playwright whose new play NASSIM is currently being presented by Barrow Street Theatricals at New York City Center Stage II. NASSIM has previously played to sold-out audiences across the globe and features a unique set-up of a new guest actor at each performance who has not read or rehearsed the play. Soleimanpour previously explored this concept in his play WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT, which ran Off-Broadway for nine months in 2016. So far in its run, NASSIM has been performed by guest actors such as Michael Urie, Tatiana Maslany, Beth Malone, Ethan Slater, Kate Walsh and many more.
