Matthew Lopez's The Inheritance has won the Outstanding Broadway Production award at the 31st annual GLAAD Media Awards. GLAAD announced the news via twitter.

Today, nominations for the 72nd annual Emmy Awards were unveiled. Leslie Jones announced the nominations, with help from Laverne Cox, Josh Gad and Tatiana Maslany The Emmy Awards will air September 20 on ABC.

On January 25th, Elm Street Cultural Arts Village will start the new year off with a laugh with the 6th annual Last Laugh Comedy Competition, in which stand-up comedians will compete for the audience's laughter and vote. Returning again to host the event for its 6th time is Jessica 'It's All Good,' who has hosted the competition since its incarnation.

Comedy Central's vibrant voice Dulcé Sloan will grab the mic for three nights of stand-up at The Second City's UP Comedy Club January 3-5. The show will be hosted by three-time Second City NBCUniversal Break Out Comedy Festival performer Alex Kumin and will feature another Comedy Central face, Dave Helem.
