Trevor Ashley (Writer, Director and Performer) and Phil Scott (Writer and Performer) have created another brilliant pantomime strictly for grown ups with THE LYIN' QUEEN. 

For one night only join Austria's greatest glam pop vocalist along with Australia's queen of cabaret in an evening to remember.  Eurovision legend Conchita Wurst returns to Australia with dear friend Trevor Ashley for an evening of musical magic.  Joined by conductor Michael Tyack and a 40-piece symphony orchestra, they will perform their greatest hits, alone and together, in Sydney as part of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras at the State Theatre on Thursday 27 February and in Melbourne at Hamer Hall on Friday 28 February. Australian singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke will also make a special appearance at both concerts.

Trevor Ashley's hilarious new adults-only show, THE LYIN' QUEEN, opens at the Sydney Opera House on 26 November for a very limited season. Demand for tickets has been high so this riotous romp will transfer to the Eternity Playhouse as from 10 December for 13 performances only. Expect ridiculous puppets, song parodies, and more out of date politicians than a Liberal party fundraiser.

Having celebrated 35 successful years of sensational daytime entertainment, Arts Centre Melbourne's Morning Melodies 2020 program is set to amaze audiences once again with a stellar line-up of music theatre, cabaret, opera, jazz and dance. Sydney Cabaret Festival Director Trevor Ashley today announced that Australian Showbiz royalty Toni Lamond will emerge from retirement to perform at a special closing night Showqueen event at the Festival, alongside performances from many of the international Festival guests. July this year will herald the inaugural Sydney Cabaret Festival, celebrating both international and Australian cabaret stars. Tickets will go on sale from 18 March.

Trevor Ashley knows a thing or two about divas.The Australian performer has channeled Dame Shirley Bassey in DIAMONDS ARE FOR TREVOR, run the gamut from Cher to Dusty Springfield in I'M EVERY WOMAN, and starred in not one but two loving send-ups of the legendary Liza Minnelli.
