Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has announced a special event - THROW ME ON THE BURNPILE AND LIGHT ME UP, an 80-minute solo show written and performed by Lucy Alibar and directed by Neel Keller. BURNPILE will have 3 performances only - Thursday, December 6; Friday, December 7; and Saturday, December 8 - all at 7pm at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has announced that it will host a number of special events in conjunction with its production of PLOT POINTS IN OUR SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT, a new play by Miranda Rose Hall, directed by Margot Bordelon, currently in previews at the Claire Tow Theater. The events, each curated with Ianne Fields Stewart and hosted at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street), will include 3 LGBTQ+ Singles Nights on Sunday, October 28th; Sunday, November 4th; and Sunday, November 11th; and 3 Post-Show Conversations on Thursday, November 1st; Thursday, November 8th; and Monday, November 12th. All events held post-show are free to ticket-holders for that evening's performance.

Playwright Ken Ludwig has gained tremendous popularity over the last few decades. His hysterical Lend Me a Tenor is performed all over the world and translated into a multitude of languages.His stage adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express is about to open October 20 at the La Mirada Performing Arts Center in its West Coast premiere. Ludwig took time out of a super busy schedule to talk about the play and other highlights of his career.

Get a first look below at the brand new tour of the critically acclaimed West End hit play Shakespeare in Love, currently playing at Theatre Royal Bath until 13 October, with opening night for press on Thursday 11 October. The new production, directed by Phillip Breen, will also tour to Nottingham, Malvern, Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Chichester until 24 November.

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training will kick off its 2018-19 season with Tom Stoppard's timeless masterpiece, Arcadia. Second-year Conservatory students bring to life the story of a young genius and her private tutor caught in an epic game of lost-and-found between two centuries. Part mystery and part love story, Arcadia pits elegance and poetry against the cold certainties of science and physics and brings to question the determinability of the universe. Arcadia will be performed in the Cook Theatre, October 31 - November 18 with a preview night October 30. Tickets are $30.

Set against the backdrop of Shakespeare's Hamlet, Stoppard's masterpiece follows the hilarious antics of two minor characters, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, as they question their place in the story of Hamlet and their inevitable fate.
