Broadway in Portland has announced the outstanding 2023/2024 season of Broadway shows at Keller Auditorium. The season brings extraordinary entertainment with a cache of highly anticipated touring productions direct from Broadway in addition to some returning crowd-pleasing favorites.

Over the past several years, jukebox musicals have taken the “Great White Way...” by storm. From shows such as “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations,” “Jagged Little Pill,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Girl from the North Country,” and more recently “& Juliet,” “MJ the Musical,” all tell a story surrounded by a book of songs exploring the discography/career of musicians such as Alanis Morissette, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, and Bob Dylan to name a few.

 Southwest Shakespeare takes audiences to ancient Rome and Egypt with its powerful performances of ANTONY & CLEOPATRA, March 17 through April 1 at Mesa Arts Center.

54 BELOW will present A Broadway Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2023 at 7:00 and 9:30pm. The 7:00pm performance will also be livestreamed.

Shakespeare Theatre Company will present a new work this season from multi-Tony nominated Moisés Kaufman, Amanda Gronich, and Tectonic Theatre Project (The Laramie Project, I Am My Own Wife): Here There Are Blueberries.

Chicago's legendary sketch and improv comedy theater Second City brings The Second City Hits Home to Starlight Indoors February 14-19. This new show features hilarious sketches, songs, and improvisation inspired by Kansas City, as well as material from the famed Second City archives. Billboard-charting singer/songwriter Nicholas Connell will be on the piano bench performing/hosting at Sid Gold's Request Room's 'Musical Monday' Broadway karaoke experience on Monday in New York City.

The First 50 podcast hosted by Adelaide's very own cabaret icon Libby O'Donovan will feature a monthly episode exploring the careers of artists who have graced the stages of Adelaide Festival Centre, starting with South Australia's own Robyn Archer.

Jeff Richmond has given an update on the upcoming film adaption of Mean Girls the musical. Richmond stated that he and his wife, Tina Fey, are working 'day-to-day' on the new movie musical, revealing that the music has been 'reinvented' for the big screen.
