Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has announced Drew McOnie as their new Artistic Director & Joint Chief Executive, joining Executive Director James Pidgeon.  

Well what a show for Artistic Director Tim Sheader to bow out on. Since 2007, Sheader has made Regent's Park Open Air Theatre a real theatrical destination and his revival of musical La Cage Aux Folles is gloriously frothy, deeply funny and completely fabulous.

Due to popular demand, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced an extra week for its new production of La Cage aux Folles, with 8 added performances from Monday 18 – Saturday 23 September 2023.

All new photos have been released from LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, now playing at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. The musical features a book by Harvey Fierstein, with Music & Lyrics by Jerry Herman, based on the play by Jean Poiret.

Today, The Watermill Theatre announces the appointment of four new Associate Directors as part of its Associate Artist Programme. Work Light Productions announced casting today for the 50th Anniversary Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's iconic musical, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Winner of the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, the North American presentation of the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's production will tech in Syracuse, NY.  The tour will officially launch at Austin's Bass Concert Hall on October 8 through October 13, 2019 before visiting over 30 cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Nashville, Dallas and Chicago.

Actor and musician Declan Bennett has successfully maintained dual, often intersecting careers as a singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer. He's had chart hits both with band Point Break and as a solo artist, and has tackled several iconic roles, including Roger in a US tour and Broadway run of Rent, Guy in the UK premiere of Once, and now Jesus in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar. This new production at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre celebrates 45 years since the show first opened, and the intimate, gig-like experience - with performers playing instruments - promises to be very different to the recent arena tour.

Flat Rock Playhouse presents the action-packed adventure play, The Three Musketeers, from November 7 - 24 at the Flat Rock Playhouse Mainstage. The Three Musketeers is written by Ken Ludwig and adapted from the novel by Alexandre Dumas.
