This July Tweed & Company Theatre presents the highly-anticipated, regional premiere of the Canadian off-Broadway cult musical, Ride the Cyclone (book, music and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell) in both Tweed and Bancroft! In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster.

On January 1, 2022, Tweed & Company Theatre assumed operations of two theatrical venues in Hastings County. The professional theatre company took ownership of the Marble Arts Centre (MAC) in Tweed, and signed a multi-year lease for the Bancroft Village Playhouse; both agreements were finalized in December.

One of Tweed & Company Theatre's most popular evenings of entertainment, THE DARK NIGHT CABARET, is returning this September 28th, and it is shaping up to be the most exciting one yet! This annual performance of all star Canadian talent performing their favourite song and dance numbers is always a sold out favourite, and this season features an impressive total of twelve professional Canadian Musical Theatre performers; some favourite performers from past productions, and some favourites on the Toronto stage but new to Tweed & Co.

It is the semifinals of the U.S. Open and rising Russian tennis player Sergei faces the former six-time champ, aging All-American Tim Porter. In Anna Ziegler's incendiary play, we witness the entire match through the minds of these fierce warriors.

Cast includes recognizable Canadian Actors from Schitt's Creek, The Handmaid's Tale, CBC, Over the Rainbow, Toronto's Kinky Boots, Tweed & Co favourites, and Artistic Director Tim Porter in a lead role!

Roundabout Theatre Company will conclude its New York premiere of The Last Match by Anna Ziegler's, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch on Saturday, December 23. At the time of closing, The Last Match will have played 29 preview performances and 68 regular performances.

On Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the historic Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem (NJMH) hosted its Third Annual Fall Benefit Concert, Uptown in Autumn which was attended by nearly 400 guests, and successfully met its goal of raising over $50,000 for the organization's year-round free jazz concerts and education program offerings.
