What did our critic think of THE SOUND OF MUSIC at NMACC?

Pushcart Players, New Jersey's Emmy-nominated and award-winning touring theater for family audiences has announces their 2023-24 Season of productions and educational programs. Founded in 1974, Pushcart will be celebrating 50 years of stirring up serious fun for young people nationwide.

This production of Urinetown: The Musical at Carlisle Theatre is one of their best productions of the season. Audiences do not want to miss out on this quirky, meaningful, strangely deep musical featuring gorgeous vocals, outstanding choreography, and fantastic acting.

GRAMMY®, Dove and Stellar Award-nominated artist Melvin Crispell, III has released his second full-length album, No Failure. The music video for the album’s title track is also out now and made its broadcast premiere on BET Gospel. Melvin’s album encourages listeners to never give up on their faith even during life’s darkest moments.  

The Weidner has announced the Broadway in Green Bay 2023-2024 Season. Featuring five titles direct from New York live at The Weidner. Season tickets on-sale Friday, June 16.

Award-winning classical pianist Rustem Hayroudinoff makes his Steinway Society – The Bay Area “video” debut on Friday, July 7.

UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) announces the inaugural 2023-24 season at The UCLA Nimoy Theater (The Nimoy), formerly known as The Crest Theatre, a landmark venue in Westwood that has been renovated and transformed into a flexible 300-seat off-campus performing arts space. 

Bolstered by its Juno Award for Classical Album of the Year in 2022 (for Viola Borealis) and its Opus Prize for Musical Event of the Year in 2022 (for the Gala de la Terre pour les enfants during its 9th season), the Orchestre de l’Agora (OA) launches its 10th season.

MPAC’s 2023-2024 season – its 29th -- will feature over 100 events in a wide range of genres, from classical music to classic rock, Broadway to the blues, smooth jazz to stunning dance, and so much more.
