BWW Review: 'The King Has Returned' to Denver

Somehow, I had managed to avoid seeing the Broadway production of The Lion King for its decades-long existence. Well, maybe not avoid necessarily--it was killing me that I'd never planned well enough to catch it. So until I did, I avoided anything that might make my first viewing any less magical than if I was my 8-year-old self seeing my first Disney musical on Broadway. 

Florida Studio Theatre Presents All-New Cabaret FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES

Florida Studio Theatre presents the original music revue, Friends in Low Places, celebrating the contemporary country musicians who transformed their genre and shot to the top of the charts. Exploring the artists who brought country music into the mainstream, like Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, and George Strait, this all-new Cabaret features such songs as “Could I Have This Dance,” “Bluebird,” and “Good Hearted Woman.”

DCPA Looking To Recruit 220 Volunteer Ushers To Assist With Local Productions

As the Denver Center for the Performing Arts returns to the stage for its 2021/22 theatre season, the non-profit organization is actively recruiting more than 220 volunteers to serve as ushers for its locally produced Theatre Company, Cabaret and Off-Center productions. Individuals who love theatre and engaging with the public are encouraged to apply.

Tickets for Three Holiday Productions & DEAR EVAN HANSEN at DCPA to Go On Sale This Week

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts announced today that tickets for the return of A Christmas Carol in the newly renovated Wolf Theatre, a bigger immersive outdoor-indoor Camp Christmas experience, The Hip Hop Nutcracker, and the return of the Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 24.
